• Better Living Through Chemistry (How Essential Oils Can Increase Your Quality of Life)

We all want a better life, right? I’m not talking about more money or more possessions. I’m talking about happiness, joy, spirituality, fulfillment, and less stress; in other words, quality of life.

You might be asking: “Can essential oils really raise my quality of life?” The answer is an unequivocal, “Yes!”  Just remember, however, that they are merely a tool. They will do you precious little good if you refuse to make any changes to your over-stressed life, negative attitudes, or (lack of) self-care practices.

To take advantage of the desired effects from the above list you simply have to inhale the aroma of the essential oil you choose. To do this, any of the following options will work:  use a diffuser (clay candle, electric, nebulizing, or light ring); place a couple drops on a tissue or cotton ball in a baggie or the smallest container you can find; smell it right out of the bottle; or, if using at night, place a few drops on your pillow case (or on a tissue inside your pillow case, if you prefer).

Which essential oils are your favorites for increasing YOUR quality of life? Let me know in the comments. I may just include it in a future blog post or social media update (with credit to you of course).
